Pakistan, Aug. 3 -- The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz said it has secured a simple majority to form the government in Azad Jammu and Kashmir. The announcement followed unofficial election results showing the party leading the AJK Legislative Assembly polls.

Prime Minister's Adviser on Political Affairs Rana Sanaullah said the PML-N had won 23 of the 45 contested seats. He said the party secured four seats in Muzaffarabad Division and ten of the twelve refugee seats.
