Pakistan, Sept. 22 -- Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif arrived in New York to attend the 81st UNGA Session on late Monday. His addressed is scheduled for September 25, wherein he will present Pakistan's perspective on evolving regional and global issues.

He will emphasize the importance of dialogue, diplomacy and peaceful resolution of conflicts, highlight Pakistan's active diplomatic and mediation efforts, and draw the international community's attention to the Kashmir and Palestine disputes. PM will also meet world leaders on the sidelines of the UNGA Session.

The Foreign Office has said Shehbaz will highlight Pakistan's position on major international issues during his visit.
