Pakistan, June 29 -- Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will lead Pakistan's highest-level official delegation to Iran on July 2 to attend the funeral prayers of the martyred Iranian Supreme Leader. The visit is expected to demonstrate Pakistan's solidarity with Iran during a significant moment while reaffirming the longstanding ties between the two neighbouring countries.
According to sources, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has invited PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto to join the official delegation. Bilawal is expected to accompany the prime minister to participate in the funeral prayers and represent Pakistan alongside other senior political leaders during the visit.
