Pakistan, Sept. 30 -- Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif chaired a high-level meeting to review the security situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The meeting considered different options, including governor rule and emergency measures in the province. Federal ministers and senior officials attended the meeting at the Prime Minister House.

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi briefed participants about the overall law and order situation. Officials also reviewed the proposed PTI long march and reported backdoor contacts. The discussions covered security conditions in KP and developments across the country.
