Pakistan, May 22 -- Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said Pakistan is taking priority measures to increase foreign investment in the country. He made the remarks during a meeting with a delegation of Qatar's Taameer Group in Islamabad. The government aims to strengthen investor confidence and accelerate economic growth.

According to the Prime Minister's Office, Shehbaz Sharif said Qatar has always supported Pakistan in difficult times. He added that barriers to investment have been removed under the Special Investment Facilitation Council framework. The initiative is designed to simplify approvals and improve the business environment.
