Pakistan, Aug. 12 -- Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif has ordered an independent three-year audit of customs-bonded warehouses across Pakistan. The Federal Board of Revenue will conduct the third-party review. The decision follows an alleged case involving manipulation of in-bond and out-bond rules. The matter was investigated and later resolved. However, the prime minister stressed that such irregularities would not be tolerated. He also directed authorities to take legal action against officials involved in wrongdoing.
