Pakistan, Sept. 11 -- Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has taken notice of rising electricity load shedding across different parts of Pakistan. He expressed concern over prolonged power outages during a review meeting on electricity load management. The prime minister directed authorities to ensure that no area faces more than two hours of load shedding.
Officials briefed the meeting on the availability and supply of RLNG amid the current regional situation. They explained that tensions around the Strait of Hormuz have affected RLNG supplies. Transportation difficulties have also created challenges for the fuel's delivery. These disruptions have reduced electricity generation in the country.
