Pakistan, Aug. 31 -- Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif arrived in Bishkek on Monday for a three-day visit to Kyrgyzstan. He will attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation summit and represent Pakistan on regional and global issues.

Kyrgyz Cabinet Chairman Adylbek Kasymaliev received Shehbaz at Manas International Airport. The prime minister is visiting at the invitation of Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov. He will address the SCO summit during his stay.

Shehbaz will attend the SCO Council of Heads of State and the SCO Plus Summit. Pakistan will also take over the SCO Council of Heads of State chairmanship for 2026-2027. He will join the opening ceremony of the World Nomad Games on August 31.
