Pakistan, Aug. 22 -- Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has approved a new master plan for the National Agriculture Research Centre. The plan aims to modernise research infrastructure and meet international standards.

The prime minister directed authorities to complete the reforms at the earliest. He also called for greater activity and international alignment at NARC and the Pakistan Agriculture Research Council.

According to the briefing, NARC will be divided into seven districts under the new plan. The restructuring aims to bring the centre's organisation in line with international requirements.
