Pakistan, Sept. 27 -- Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Saturday arrived at his residence in central London after travelling to the UK from the United States, where he addressed the United Nations General Assembly.

During his hectic five-day visit to New York, PM Shehbaz, besides addressing the 193-member Assembly, interacted with the world leaders gathered here on issues of regional and global security and matters of bilateral interests.

He also met Pakistani-American businessmen and urged them to invest in their homeland.

The prime minister conferred with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, who is expected to visit Pakistan next month. Guterres completes his second 5-year term on 31 December 2026.
