Pakistan, April 23 -- Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has directed authorities to ensure full preparedness for the upcoming monsoon season. He stressed that early warning systems and digital monitoring infrastructure must be fully functional. The instructions came during a high-level meeting in Islamabad on climate risk management.
The prime minister reviewed national readiness plans ahead of expected heavy rainfall. He said protecting citizens from climate threats is a core responsibility of all institutions. He emphasized coordinated action between federal and provincial governments to avoid disaster risks.
