Pakistan, June 22 -- Prime Minister's Adviser Rana Sanaullah has said that Pakistan's diplomatic efforts helped prevent a potential global conflict and that the role played by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir goes beyond what a Nobel Peace Prize represents.

Speaking to the media at Parliament House, Rana Sanaullah said that the Iran-US agreement has created hope for peace and stability in the region. He added that efforts aimed at preventing a wider conflict were crucial and that Pakistan's leadership played an important role in facilitating dialogue and reducing tensions.
