Pakistan, Oct. 7 -- The Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) in Islamabad is facing a possible shortage of free medicines due to prolonged procurement delays, hospital sources said.
A senior hospital doctor said supplies of medicines and other essential items could disrupted as no tender had signed during the past several weeks. The doctor said medicine stocks were already declining.

Medicines and injections are provided free to all inpatients at Pims. Therefore, hospital authorities need a continuous supply to ensure treatment not affected.
