Pakistan, Sept. 17 -- The Pakistan Islamic Medical Association (PIMA) has expressed concern over the suspension of medical registrations of 15 doctors. The doctors belong to Punjab and were subsequently dismissed from their posts. PIMA said such actions could create uncertainty among medical professionals and affect the healthcare system.

The doctors' representative body warned that administrative decisions could place medical careers at risk. It said such measures could also encourage more doctors to seek employment abroad. PIMA argued that uncertainty among healthcare professionals could contribute to the continuing migration of doctors from Pakistan.
