Pakistan, June 21 -- Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has increased the free baggage allowance for passengers traveling between Pakistan and China, state media reported on Sunday, as the airline seeks to improve services on its Beijing route.

PIA will resume direct flights between Islamabad and Beijing on July 3 after suspending services in April due to a sharp rise in jet fuel prices amid the Middle East conflict.

Under the revised policy, the free baggage allowance has been increased to 50kg from 40kg for economy class passengers and to 60kg from 50kg for executive economy passengers.
