Pakistan, Sept. 10 -- Federal Petroleum Minister Ali Pervaiz Malik has commented on rising petroleum prices in Pakistan. He linked price fluctuations to the global market.
Ali Pervaiz Malik said international market conditions influence petroleum prices in Pakistan. He said changes in global prices directly affect domestic rates.
The minister also discussed the country's LNG supply situation. He said an LNG cargo from Qatar would reach Karachi today.
Ali Pervaiz Malik said Qatar has assured Pakistan of continued cooperation on LNG supplies. He added that Qatar would provide greater support as conditions improve.
