Pakistan, Oct. 8 -- Petroleum Minister Ali Pervaiz Malik has acknowledged public concerns over rising petrol prices in Pakistan. He said the government understands the difficulties faced by citizens. Malik added that authorities are openly explaining the factors behind petrol prices.
Speaking during a meeting of the National Assembly Standing Committee on Petroleum, Malik discussed the ongoing oil supply crisis. He said regional tensions have disrupted supplies of petrol, diesel, and crude oil. These disruptions have affected fuel availability and increased pressure on prices.
