Pakistan, May 21 -- The imports of the overall petroleum group witnessed an increase of 1.63 percent during the first ten months of the current fiscal year (2025-26) as compared to the corresponding months of the last year, the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS) reported. The total imports of the petroleum group during July-April (2025-26) stood at $13,517.296 million against the imports of $13,300.214 million during the same months of last year. Among petroleum commodities, the import of petroleum products increased by 2.99 percent, from $4,956.484 million last year to $ 5,104.768 million during the period under review year.
