Pakistan, June 23 -- The imports of the overall petroleum group witnessed an increase of 2.23 percent during the first eleven months of the current fiscal year (2025-26) as compared to the corresponding months of the last year, the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS) reported.

The total imports of the petroleum group during July-May (2025-26) stood at $14,953.227 million against the imports of $14,631.808 million during the same months of last year. Among petroleum commodities, the import of petroleum products increased by 2.86 percent, from $5,456.150 million last year to $5,612.274 million during the period under review year.
