Pakistan, July 24 -- Petrol and diesel prices have increased significantly within six days after the government introduced a daily pricing mechanism for petroleum products. Petrol prices rose by over Rs20 per litre, while diesel increased by more than Rs55 per litre.

According to the Petroleum Division, petrol prices increased by Rs20.81 per litre and diesel prices rose by Rs55.36 per litre after daily adjustments began. The changes were made following the government's new pricing policy.
