Pakistan, July 22 -- Petrol pumps owners and dealers have postponed their planned strike after the government assured them of resolving their concerns. The decision prevented a possible disruption in fuel supplies across Pakistan.

The Pakistan Petroleum Dealers Association announced that it had withdrawn the strike call following government assurances. The association said dealers' demands, including an increase in margins, would be addressed.
