Pakistan, Aug. 11 -- Petroleum dealers have announced an indefinite nationwide shutdown of petrol pumps from August 15 after issuing the government a 72-hour ultimatum.
The Pakistan Petroleum Dealers Association announced the decision on Tuesday following a meeting of dealers from across the country. The move could affect fuel availability nationwide.

Association Chairman Malik Khuda Baksh said dealers would stop operating pumps if their demands remained unresolved. He said the association represents around 14,000 dealers.
