Pakistan, May 1 -- The government has increased fuel prices, raising the petrol price by Rs6.51 per liter, with the new rate set nationwide at Rs399.86. This decision reflects ongoing economic pressures and global oil market trends. The revised prices took effect from midnight.
According to the Petroleum Division, high-speed diesel prices also saw a major increase. Diesel rates rose by Rs19.39 per liter, bringing the new price to Rs399.58. Officials issued a formal notification confirming these changes and their immediate implementation.
