Pakistan, July 4 -- The federal government has reduced the prices of petrol and high-speed diesel by Rs1.97 per litre, providing modest relief to consumers amid ongoing efforts to manage fuel pricing and fiscal reforms.

According to an official notification issued on Friday, the price of petrol has been lowered to Rs297.53 per litre, while high-speed diesel (HSD) will now be available at Rs309.50 per litre. The revised rates took effect immediately.
