Pakistan, Sept. 21 -- The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has awarded central contracts to Under-19 players for the first time. The move aims to recognise young cricketers and support their development. PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi announced the decision after meeting the Pakistan U19 squad in Lahore.

The announcement followed Pakistan's impressive tour of England, where the young team won the four-match one-day series 3-1. Naqvi met the players individually and praised their performances. He also encouraged them to continue working hard and building their careers.
