Pakistan, Sept. 11 -- Parineeti Chopra is returning to acting with Netflix's upcoming show Shaque after becoming a mother. The series marks her first project since welcoming her baby boy last October. It also marks her debut in an OTT series.

Speaking at the trailer launch in Mumbai, Chopra discussed returning to work after motherhood. She said nobody had linked motherhood with the roles offered to her. According to the actor, this showed how the industry's approach is changing.

Chopra said she does not want motherhood to end her professional career. She described acting as a relationship involving both artists and the industry. She added that actors need opportunities while audiences continue supporting their work.
