Pakistan, May 5 -- Pakistan women began their ODI series against Zimbabwe with a commanding 168-run victory after strong batting performances from Sadaf Shamas and Najiha Alvi at Karachi's National Bank Stadium.

After winning the toss and choosing to bat first, Pakistan posted an imposing total of 330 for five in 50 overs. Opener Sadaf Shamas led the innings with an impressive 98 off 130 deliveries, narrowly missing out on a century. Her knock included 17 boundaries and helped Pakistan build a solid platform early in the innings.
