Pakistan, Aug. 1 -- Pakistan has welcomed recent progress toward implementing the Gaza Peace Plan and expressed support for ongoing diplomatic efforts. The Foreign Office said the developments could advance Palestinian self-determination through a credible political process. The statement highlights Pakistan's continued backing for a two-state solution.

Foreign Office spokesperson Tahir Andrabi praised the mediation efforts of the United States, Egypt, Qatar, and Turkiye. According to the Foreign Office, Pakistan expects the latest progress to lead to the full implementation of commitments under the Gaza Peace Plan. He emphasized the importance of sustained international engagement.
