Pakistan, June 24 -- Pakistan has reaffirmed its commitment to promoting lasting peace and stability in the Middle East, with Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi emphasizing continued diplomatic efforts during a meeting with his Iranian counterpart, Eskandar Momeni, in Islamabad.

According to Pakistan's Interior Ministry, the two ministers held detailed discussions on bilateral relations and the evolving regional situation. The meeting took place during the visit of an Iranian delegation led by President Masoud Pezeshkian, who arrived in Pakistan following the recent US-Iran agreement aimed at ending hostilities in the Middle East.
