Pakistan, Aug. 6 -- Pakistan has called for stronger international cooperation against terrorism and urged the global community to end double standards while addressing the United Nations Security Council. Pakistan's Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Asim Iftikhar Ahmad, said terrorism continues to evolve and requires a coordinated international response to protect regional and global security.
The Pakistani envoy said terrorist groups operating from Afghanistan remain a serious threat to regional peace and stability.
