Pakistan, April 29 -- Pakistan has called for diplomacy and restraint to resolve the ongoing Israel-Palestine situation and the US-Iran conflict. The appeal was made during a United Nations Security Council debate on the Middle East. Islamabad emphasized that dialogue remains the only viable path to regional stability.
Pakistan's Permanent Representative to the UN, Ambassador Asim Iftikhar Ahmad, said the core issue behind regional instability is the unresolved question of Palestine. He said continued occupation and denial of rights are central obstacles to peace. He stressed that a sovereign Palestinian state is essential for long-term stability.
