Pakistan, July 26 -- Federal Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal said on Saturday that world is fast moving away from gasoline in transportation as the electric vehicle (EV) revolution has begun.

Eighty percent of petrol in Pakistan is spent on transport. Pakistan is also trying to move towards EVs quickly, he added.

Talking to the media after inaugurating the EVS World and Electricity Pakistan Exhibition here at Expo Center, he said that Pakistan's development depends on exports. Pakistan's economy would become invincible only when exporters and other stakeholders work as much as possible.
