Pakistan, June 7 -- Pakistan has told the United Nations General Assembly that Jammu and Kashmir is not an integral part of India and remains an internationally recognized dispute. The statement came during a diplomatic exchange at the UN, where both countries presented opposing positions on the long-standing issue.

During the session, Pakistan exercised its right of reply after India reiterated its claim over Kashmir. Pakistani diplomat Gul Qaiser Sarwani firmly rejected the assertion and stated that Kashmir "never was, neither is, nor will ever be" part of India under historical and legal grounds.
