Pakistan, Oct. 5 -- Pakistan strengthens its Debt Management Office as part of efforts linked to IMF commitments and public debt management reforms. The Finance Division has announced a new director general (debt) position to oversee the government's debt strategy. The senior official will handle both domestic and foreign borrowing while monitoring risks linked to government debt.
The DG will advise the government on debt sustainability and policies affecting economic stability. The official will also assess debt-related risks and help develop strategies for managing Pakistan's borrowing obligations.
