Pakistan, Oct. 24 -- President Asif Ali Zardari on Friday emphasized the need to realize the full potential of Pakistan-Germany relations by expanding political, economic and defence cooperation, with a focus on trade, emerging technologies, climate resilience, skills development, and cultural exchanges.

During a meeting with German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier, President Zardari thanked him for the invitation and warm hospitality extended to him and his delegation, according to a statement issued by the Presidency.

He said the visit reflected Pakistan's commitment to strengthening its longstanding friendly relations with Germany and transforming them into a robust, mutually beneficial partnership through sustained engagement.
