Pakistan, Aug. 20 -- Pakistan has requested a $10 billion Exchange Stabilization Facility from the United States to strengthen its financial position. The Finance Ministry confirmed the request on Wednesday.
According to ministry sources, the US Treasury Department has received Pakistan's request. Washington is expected to make progress on the proposal by September.
