Pakistan, July 1 -- Pakistan's military said its security forces intercepted and shot down four drones that it alleged had crossed into Balochistan from Afghanistan, amid heightened tensions between the two neighbouring countries.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said the incident occurred on June 30, claiming the drones had been launched from across the border by the Afghan Taliban administration. According to the military, the unmanned aerial vehicles were detected by Pakistan's air defence network soon after entering its airspace.
