Pakistan, May 17 -- Pakistan's diplomatic role in facilitating ongoing peace negotiations between the United States and Iran has drawn praise from a senior American lawmaker, who described Islamabad's contribution as "indispensable" and reflective of "true statesmanship".
US Congressman Jack Bergman, Co-Chair of the Congressional Pakistan Caucus, has written a letter to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) and Chief of the Army Staff Field Marshal Asim Munir, expressing "sincere gratitude" for Pakistan's role in advancing dialogue between Washington and Tehran.
