Pakistan, Sept. 12 -- Pakistan's first ambassador to Armenia, Shafqat Ali Khan, has formally presented his credentials. He handed his letters of credence to Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan. The ceremony took place at the presidential palace in Yerevan. President Khachaturyan welcomed Khan and congratulated him on his appointment.

During the meeting, both sides discussed ways to strengthen relations between Pakistan and Armenia. They identified trade, investment, education and culture as key areas.
