Pakistan, Sept. 19 -- Pakistan will not negotiate with terrorists, DG ISPR Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said. He said the state policy on terrorism remains clear. The remarks came during an interview with Arab News.

Regarding Afghanistan, Pakistan has one clear demand, Chaudhry said. Afghan territory must not be used for attacks against Pakistan. The Taliban government must also honor commitments made under the Doha Agreement.

Pakistan can engage with Afghanistan through dialogue, according to the military spokesperson. However, negotiations with terrorist groups will not take place.
