Pakistan, Sept. 9 -- VEON, a global digital operator, has reaffirmed its commitment to continued investment in Pakistan's digital and telecom sector, describing the country as a "strategic growth market".

The development came during a meeting between VEON Group CEO Kaan Terzioglu and Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) Chairman Major General (R) Hafeez Ur Rehman.

According to a statement released on Tuesday, a VEON and JazzWorld leadership delegation, led by Kaan Terzioglu, CEO of VEON Group, and Aamir Ibrahim, CEO of JazzWorld, met with Major General (R) Hafeez Ur Rehman to discuss Pakistan's digital growth, continued telecom investment, quality of service, and a conducive regulatory environment.
