Pakistan, Aug. 18 -- Pakistan has strongly rejected allegations by India's Home Minister linking Pakistan to arrests in India, calling the claims baseless and part of a campaign against Islamabad. Foreign Office spokesperson Tahir Andrabi said the allegations appeared designed to divert attention from India's internal security challenges and gain narrow domestic political benefits.

Responding to media questions, Andrabi said Pakistan rejected attempts to connect Islamabad with certain arrests in India and described the accusations as unfounded.
