ISLAMABAD, June 19 -- Ministry of Information and Broadcasting of Pakistan has rejected claims circulating through Afghan Taliban government channels regarding alleged drone strikes on purported Daesh camps in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, describing the assertions as false propaganda.

In a statement issued on Friday, the ministry said the Afghan government had been promoting the claims through official statements and affiliated media platforms, adding that the allegations were "incorrect, as always."

The ministry maintained that the Afghan Taliban administration was attempting to divert attention from security concerns within Afghanistan by spreading what it called misleading narratives about activities inside Pakistan.
