Pakistan, Sept. 25 -- Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has reaffirmed Pakistan's solidarity with Lebanon and its people, saying Islamabad will continue to condemn atrocities against the country and work with Beirut to promote peace and stability in the region.

Shehbaz Sharif made the remarks alongside Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam on the sidelines of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, where the two leaders discussed the deteriorating regional security situation and the need for greater international efforts to end ongoing conflicts.
