Pakistan, April 23 -- The Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (Suparco) on Wednesday announced a key development in its human spaceflight programme, naming two astronaut candidates who will undergo advanced training in China. Khurram Daud and Muhammad Zeeshan Ali are set to depart for the People's Republic of China to begin training at the Astronaut Centre of China. Officials said the move marked a significant step in Pakistan's space exploration efforts and placed the country among a limited number of nations pursuing human spaceflight capabilities.
