Pakistan, May 22 -- Pakistan have announced a 16-member squad for the upcoming three-match ODI series against Australia. Star batter Babar Azam returns to the side after missing the Bangladesh tour due to a fitness issue. The series is set to begin next week and will serve as preparation for the 2027 ODI World Cup.
Fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi will continue as captain, while Salman Ali Agha has been named vice-captain. Selectors also recalled Haris Rauf, Naseem Shah, and Shadab Khan after their absence from the previous series. The squad reflects a mix of experienced and emerging players.
