Pakistan, May 27 -- The Pakistan Meteorological Department has warned that extreme heat will continue across Pakistan during the Eid holidays. According to officials, several parts of the country are expected to experience dangerously high temperatures. Moreover, authorities advised citizens to take precautionary measures to avoid heat-related illnesses.

The department stated that temperatures in the plains of Sindh and southern Punjab could rise between 47 and 50 degrees Celsius. Furthermore, weather experts said the ongoing heatwave may intensify in some areas over the coming days.
