Pakistan, Nov. 3 -- Pakistan leads globally in YouTube video consumption, Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) Chairman Major General (retd) Hafeez-ur-Rehman revealed on Tuesday. Briefing the National Assembly Standing Committee on Information Technology, he shared key digital usage metrics across the country. Furthermore, he stated that 96 million Pakistanis actively use YouTube, generating 560 million video views daily. Consequently, national data consumption has grown exponentially due to rising online video streaming trends. Therefore, officials emphasized the urgent need to expand domestic internet infrastructure to support heavy digital traffic.
