Pakistan, July 26 -- Pakistan's flood monitoring authorities have declared the next 24 hours critical as rising river flows increase the risk of flooding in several areas of Punjab. Officials warned that medium to high-level flooding is expected in parts of the province, while southern Balochistan and Sindh may also face flood threats.
According to the latest forecast, medium to high-level flooding is expected at Marala, Khanki, and Qadirabad on the River Chenab during the next 24 hours. Authorities said water levels in the Chenab are likely to rise further, increasing the risk for downstream communities.
