Pakistan, Aug. 24 -- The City business and diplomatic community gathered at Mundia House to celebrate Pakistan's 79th Independence Day in a spirit of unity and patriotism. Prominent businessmen Abdul Basit Muhammad Ilyas Mundia and Muhammad Junaid Muhammad Ilyas Mundia hosted an Independence Day reception in Karachi.

The venue was Mundia House in Clifton. Diplomats, politicians, industrialists and business leaders attended the gathering. Specially guest of houner Provincial minister local government Syed Nasir Hussain Shah and labour minister Saeed Ghani and other several prominent personalities from Karachi's social and business circles were also present.
